Client’s Brief
Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK) is a non-government development organization (NGO) working to eradicate poverty among the poor and extreme poor populations in selected remote areas of Bangladesh. They have been implementing their development interventions like health care, microfinance, water and sanitation, non-formal education, economic empowerment of women, etc. in rural areas, urban slums, coastal districts, and haor regions.
DSK wanted to revamp their website into a functional and modern web platform that will create an online image that correctly portrays their humanitarian efforts and to make an impactful impression on potential donors.
Our Approach
The website for DSK is a content heavy, informative online platform aiming to communicate their activities to potential donors. From showcasing the fields of service and the projects completed under each of them to budgetary reports and annual activity reports, the website hosts a myriad of information. The main target while designing this website was to arrange the content in an intuitive manner, so that visitors get a complete overview of the NGO’s activities on the landing page, and then easily navigate to detail pages should they wish to access project details. The website primarily aims to effectively portray the humanitarian efforts of DSK so that potential donors can access enough information with minimal effort in order for them to make a positive decision.
