Client’s Brief
Show Talent, an initiative of IFD Publications Limited, Bangladesh, is a new generation portal for promoting talents. People can post news links, write opinions, upload images and videos and also write and sell e-books through this new platform. Besides posting contents, users can also post classifieds on various matters. Users will receive points depending on the quality of contents they upload. Top Talents will receive recognitions from Show Talent periodically
Our Approach
Given that the idea was rather a novelty, we conducted long requirement analysis sessions, where we strived to establish the complete user journey and sketched a tentative wireframe. Then we moved onto refining the wireframe to make the user experience (UX) smoother. After two rounds of polishing the UX, we moved onto the user interface (UI) design. Bearing in mind the requirement to keep the website clean, we derived a color palette from the logo with hues of blue as the primary color, and the yellow as an accent color. On top of the easily navigable UX, the colors worked as a guiding tool to make the UI even more intuitive. After much deliberation, the website for Show Talent has resulted in a user friendly, talent promoting online platform.
