Project Summary

Client’s Brief
A new talent promotion portal, Show Talent is a project of IFD Publications Limited in Bangladesh. Through this new platform, users can publish links to breaking news, express their opinions, contribute photographs and videos, as well as create and sell e-books. Users can submit classified ads on a variety of topics in addition to posting content. Depending on the caliber of the uploaded content, users will earn points. Show Talent will from time to time recognize Top Talents.

Our Approach
Given that the concept was still rather novel, we engaged in lengthy requirement analysis sessions where we attempted to define the entire user journey and drew a rough wireframe. Then, in order to improve the user experience (UX), we refined the wireframe. After two iterations of UX refinement, we turned our attention to UI design. We created a color scheme from the logo using blue tones as the primary color and yellow as an accent color, keeping in mind the need to keep the website tidy. The colors served as a guiding aid to make the UI even more understandable on top of the user-friendly UX. After much deliberation, the Show Talent App has resulted in a user-friendly, talent-promoting online platform. In the app, users can post news links, write opinions, upload images, and videos and also write and sell e-books on this new platform. Besides posting content, users can also post classifieds on various matters. In the app, users can report or hide content from their timelines. If a needed user can also report and block other users too. Besides, the user interface was designed to be clean, simple, and professional.
